Our hosting journey began in a humble and personal way—by sharing the very first home we lived in together in San Diego. When a career move took us to a new city, we couldn’t quite let go of that home. It held our early memories, and we hoped others might create special ones there too. So, we opened its doors to travelers and families, offering a comfortable place to land and a bit of Southern California warmth.

 

Soon after, we dreamed a little bigger. We wanted a retreat—a place where our boys could explore, get muddy, roast marshmallows, and just be kids. That dream took shape in the Sierra foothills of Northern California. Nestled in nature, it became our family’s escape from the busyness of everyday life. And just like our first home, we felt it was meant to be shared.

We know what it's like to travel with little ones in tow, to need space to breathe, and to crave the comfort of a clean, safe, welcoming home.
